Around it, curved arms in different colours open like petals, each one different from the next.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 dir=\"ltr\"\u003eCraft and technique\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eEvery element is blown by hand, in the furnace, by Murano glassmakers. The arms are shaped while the glass is hot, curved like horns and closed at the tip. The colours go from transparent cobalt blue to soft, milky tones of sky blue, green, yellow and lilac, with a bright red among them.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eA tall cobalt blue stem, shaped like a trumpet, comes down from the ceiling. Below it sits a wide cobalt blue cup, the calm centre of the whole piece. All around, the curved arms rise and fall in a circle, alternating their colours. The result is a composition that changes as you walk around it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWith the light on, the glass glows from within. Each arm keeps its own colour, and together they cast soft, coloured reflections on the ceiling and the walls.
