A brushed brass frame outlines the edges, and thin brass rods hold each row of glass bars in place. The glass covers the four sides and the bottom completely, so from below you see a single, shimmering surface. Rigorous geometry outside, rich texture inside: that's what makes it so strong.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWith the light on, each bar becomes a small source of light. The gold leaf warms the glow, and the rows of glass multiply the reflections across the room.
