An original pop chandelier, made in Murano. Not a reissue, not a reproduction: the real piece, with its history.

Dozens of glass prisms, long and short, in every colour. They hang at different heights, like a cascade of coloured light.

Craft and technique

Every element is blown by hand in the furnace by Murano glassmakers. The long prisms have a textured surface that breaks up the light, and some of them fade gently from colour to clear. The shorter, cube-like elements carry a diamond relief (balloton), which adds another layer of sparkle. The colours are in the glass itself, not painted: that's why they stay vivid when light passes through.

A white metal frame, made of concentric rings, holds all the elements. The prisms are hung at different heights, in several tiers, so the chandelier grows narrower towards the bottom. Long and short pieces, textured and diamond-patterned, alternate freely: it's a composition that looks different from every angle.

With the light on, the chandelier becomes a column of colour. Each prism glows with its own tone, and together they throw coloured reflections on the ceiling and the walls. In daylight, it works like a sculpture of coloured glass.

Note: small differences in colour, texture and shape between the elements come from hand-blowing and from the age of the piece. They're a mark of authenticity, not defects.
