Techniques can be combined. The most extraordinary commissions we produce are those where the client has a strong visual idea and we find the right technical language to express it.

The frame of a Venetian mirror is as important as the glass itself.

We work with gold-leaf gilding, silver-leaf, lacquered wood, hand-carved gesso, and natural metal finishes: from polished brass to oxidised bronze.

All frames are produced to specification. If you have an existing interior with a specific material language, we can match or complement it precisely.

Nota bene: all our custom mirrors are produced with installation in mind. We provide technical drawings and mounting specifications with every commission, and can coordinate with your site team or installer to ensure the piece arrives and sits exactly as designed.

The commission process

Share your project with us. Dimensions, space references, stylistic direction, timeline. If you have architectural drawings or mood references, include them. The more context we have, the more precisely we can respond.

We develop a written and visual proposal, technique, glass type, frame option, price, and timeline. For commissions involving unusual techniques or combinations, we can produce a glass sample before final approval.

Once the proposal is approved, production begins in our partner ateliers in Venice. A standard bespoke mirror takes between four and ten weeks, depending on complexity. We keep you updated at each key stage.

Every mirror is packed in custom-built wooden crates, with museum-grade protective materials. We ship internationally and are experienced with the specific fragility requirements of large-format decorative glass. Every piece is fully insured in transit.
