There are chandeliers that simply light a room. And then there are pieces that turn light into atmosphere. This opaline chandelier belongs to the second category: 36 individually hand-blown glasses in vetro opalino, shaped through traditional soffiatura a bocca, filter the light through their milky surface and release it with delicate transparent blue reflections that shift as you move around the piece.

The originality of this chandelier lies entirely in its glass: each element is a small work of art, crafted by Italian master artisans and measuring a generous 13 in (33 cm) in height. The warm gold-colored metal structure frames the composition and enhances the contrast between the soft opaline white and the cool blue undertones. The design, in the style of the 1980s, combines a timeless silhouette with the sculptural character of Italian art glass, at ease in a classic interior as much as in a contemporary space.

The chandelier measures 47¼ in (120 cm) in height with its chain and 21⅝ in (55 cm) without, with an overall diameter of 25⅝ in (65 cm). Seven E27 light sources (bulbs not included) illuminate the opaline glasses from within, wrapping the room in a soft, enveloping glow.
