Six alabastro glasses per sconce, each one individually hand-blown by Italian craftsmen working in the tradition of the great mid-century design houses. The form follows the Vistosi design language: a vocabulary shaped by one of the most influential names in Italian decorative glass, where geometric clarity and material honesty were never in conflict — they were the same thing.

Blue alabastro occupies a category of its own. It is not translucent like coloured crystal, not opaque like painted glass. It sits in between — holding the colour inside the material itself, the way stone holds pigment, so that what you see is not a surface but a depth. In natural light, it reads as a cool, composed presence: mineral, precise, quietly confident. When lit from within, it shifts — the opacity of the alabastro softens the light and turns it into something closer to atmosphere than illumination. A blue that does not recede. A blue that stays in the room.

The nickel-plated frame carries the glasses with restraint. Against blue glass, nickel is the right call: its cool undertone harmonises rather than contrasts, letting the colour read cleanly without interference from a warmer metal.
