Six alabastro glasses per sconce, each one individually hand-blown by Italian craftsmen working in the tradition of the great mid-century design houses. The form follows the Vistosi design language: a vocabulary shaped by one of the most influential names in Italian decorative glass, where geometric clarity and material honesty were never in conflict — they were the same thing.

Gold alabastro is a material with its own logic. Where white alabastro diffuses light evenly and neutrally, the gold variant absorbs it first — holds it for a moment inside the body of the glass — then releases it with a warmth that shifts across the spectrum depending on the light source and the time of day. It is not amber, not yellow, not honey: it is something that contains all of these and commits to none of them. A material that rewards looking at closely, and living with over time.

When lit, each element glows from within with a depth that clear or frosted glass cannot replicate. Six of them together, arranged in a composition that balances mass and lightness, produce a glow that is quiet but unmistakably present — and unmistakably Italian.

The nickel-plated frame carries the glasses with restraint. Note: As with any authentic hand-blown glass piece, slight variations in diameter and thickness between individual elements — ranging from 5½ to 6⅛ inches — are not defects but direct evidence of hand production. No mould was used. No two glasses are identical. That is precisely what makes them worth having.
