Eighty alabastro glass tubes, each one individually hand-blown by a maestro vetraio on the island of Murano, then assembled across four architectural tiers into a structure that reads as monumental from any angle. At nearly 60 kilograms and over six and a half feet in total height, this is not an accent piece. It is a statement that organizes the room around itself.

Blue alabastro is one of the rarest registers in Venetian glassmaking. The technique itself is centuries old — a glass formulated to capture the soft, marble-like veining and internal luminosity of natural alabaster stone — but blue is among the most technically demanding tones to achieve within it. The colour does not sit on the surface of the glass; it lives inside the material, creating a depth that shifts with the angle of view and the quality of the light. In daylight, the tubes read as cool, almost stone-like columns of colour. When lit, the alabastro technique does what it has always done best: it softens and diffuses the light from within, so that all eighty tubes glow rather than shine — an effect that transforms the chandelier from object into atmosphere.

The four-tier structure is itself a feat of construction. Each level is calibrated in proportion to the ones above and below it, building a silhouette that narrows and widens with architectural precision — closer to a piece of structural design than to a conventional light fixture. The polished nickel frame holds the composition together with a cool, reflective precision that complements the blue glass without competing with it: nickel and blue alabastro share the same register, mineral and composed.

At 10 × E14, the lighting is distributed generously across the full height of the piece, ensuring the glow reaches every tier rather than concentrating at a single point. The wiring is suitable for international use and can be adapted on request, making installation straightforward wherever the chandelier is placed.

Note: As with any hand-blown glass piece, slight variations in veining, tone, and form between individual tubes are not defects but direct evidence of hand production using techniques passed down through generations of Murano artisans. At this scale — eighty individually blown elements — these variations are what give the chandelier its organic, living presence.

In which setting does this piece work best?

This is a chandelier conceived for spaces that demand scale.
At nearly 71 inches with chain and a diameter of 33½ inches, across four full architectural tiers, it is built for double-height living rooms, grand staircases, formal dining rooms, and hotel lobbies where the ceiling itself becomes part of the design statement.
The blue alabastro glass introduces a colour rarely seen at this scale in Murano lighting — cool, mineral, and luminous rather than simply decorative — which makes the piece equally suited to contemporary interiors with a restrained palette and to more classical settings where it becomes the single, defining note of colour in the room.
For interior designers and architects working on luxury residential or boutique hospitality projects, this is the kind of chandelier that doesn't accompany a design concept — it anchors one.
