The Poliedri design is one of the most recognisable expressions of Italian lighting from the late twentieth century. Each glass element is individually mouth-blown using the traditional technique that produces precisely faceted surfaces. It is these surfaces; sixteen per sconce; that make the difference: they capture light, break it apart, and return it as a controlled interplay of reflections, never accidental.

The amethyst colour adds a dimension of chromatic depth. It is not a saturated violet: it is a hue that shifts character with light intensity, vibrant under direct illumination, almost translucent in soft ambient light. Impossible to replicate industrially.
